Samfunnet trenger saklighet og diskusjon for videre vekst, men vi er nok i manko på kjærlighet og heiarop.

Jeg er stolt, rørt og ydmyk over min kjære Lene. Vi har samme passion og drive i livet der vår misjon er å gjøre verden glad og sterk. Vi har kun gode intensjoner for alle rundt oss og KUN det!

Min kjære er en av de som sliter med ulcerøs kolitt, en betennelsestilstand i tarmen. Noe jeg forøvrig hører flere sliter med, forskjellige typer plager med mage/tarm/oppblåsthet. Lene selv har solid kompetanse innenfor områdene kosthold, trening, livsstil og helse gjennom formell utdannelse og årevis med erfaring med sin egen kropp og tusenvis av kunder. Når hun først gjør noe har hun en tendens til å gå ”all in” og blir best eller blant de beste innenfor det hun gjør. Med kun gode intensjoner ønsket hun å inspirere kvinner til å bli den sterkeste og beste utgaven av seg selv gjennom et bikiniakademi hun kjørte i 2016/2017. Totalbelastningen viste seg omsider å bli for stor for hovedpersonen selv da hun selv konkurrerte i fitness parallelt med å drive et selskap som eksploderte . Det hele endte på sykehuset med oppblussing av den kroniske sykdommen ulcerøs kolitt. Dette har resultert i en endring i Lene sitt liv og selskapet LA Lifestyle sin filosofi, visjon og verdier der de nå fokuserer på glede, helse, og hverdagsmagi. Dette defineres forskjellig fra person til person. Noen ønsker å stille i fitness eller bli best innen sin idrett andre ønsker å ta av seg noen kilo eller få mer energi i hverdagen. Kunden har målet – LA Lifestyle har planen.

Min Lene har vært i rampelyset i mange år. I 2008 gjorde hun drastisk endring i livet og ønsket og få mennesker i form og tok PT sertifisering. Som et kjent ansikt er det lett å bli et objekt for diskusjon, på godt å vondt. Denne strategien har Lene på mange måter valgt selv og hun har til tider skapt store overskrifter. Det har ført til utallige leserbrev, kommentarer, slengbemerkninger og meninger av forskjellig art til Lene direkte og i det offentlige rom. Det kan virke som om enkelte glemmer at hun også faktisk er et menneske oppi alt dette, med et følelsesliv. Alt dette har gjort Lene ”bullet proof”. Det vil si det er lite som biter på henne, men det er ikke alt som er like gøy alltid, selv for henne.

Jeg på min side har levd et annerledes annet liv, jeg kaller meg selv for ”bomullsgutten”. Med det mener jeg selv at jeg har vært pakket inn i bomull med trygge og solide rammer rundt hele oppveksten. Jeg har heller ikke vært den som har stukket meg mest frem heller. Jeg har på mange måter alltid vært en i mengden og det kan føles trygt og godt, det er nok derfor de fleste blir der. I 2014 startet jeg for meg selv og da skulle omsider bomullsgutten få litt å bryne seg på som har resultert i at jeg er relativt bullet proof selv, men jeg er nok ikke i nærheten av min kjære enda. For meg å komme inn i ”denne verden” er først og fremst interessant og også veldig lærerikt, jeg følger med fra sidelinjen og observerer hvordan det påvirker min kjære, det gjør ikke alle dere der hjemme som lar fingrene lett skli over tastaturet. Det kan høres ut som om Lene får kritikk og negative bemerkninger hele tiden, sannheten er at de kommer svært sjelden. Jeg og vi veit hvem vi er, hva vi står for og ønsker kun og inspirere verden til å bli glad og sterk og det er vi svært stolte av.

Lene fikk faktisk en personlig melding her om dagen på instagram. ”Er det sånn at du ser ned på mennesker som ikke er glad og sterke”? Ganske fascinerende at noen går rundt å tror at Lene ser ned på andre. Lene har selv opplevd store topper i livet, og med store topper kommer dype daler. Lene veit utmerket godt hva det vil si å være ulykkelig og føle seg svak. Vi liker og tro at de færreste av oss ønsker å være ulykkelig og svak som står i kontrast til glad og sterk. Vårt mål er som sagt å gjøre verden glad og sterk. Og det gjør vi med vår approach med fokus på helse, kjærlighet, balanse, god mat, hverdagsaktivitet og trening. Det er ikke alltid vi nødvendigvis treffer, men målet og intensjonen er å treffe, derfor vil vi beklage om vi støter noen. Noen vil si vi er ekstreme, men med vår egen referanseramme basert på egen erfaring er vi langt i fra ekstreme nå. Vi forsøker å være ekstreme på å finne balanse.

Kropp, det er nesten skummelt bare å nevne ordet. Vi tror at god helse blant annet reflekteres gjennom kroppen. Igjen, noen ønsker å ha en lav fettprosent, noen er ikke opptatt av det. Vi vil anbefale mennesker å ligge innenfor en slags referanseramme, ikke for høy, men heller ikke for lavt. Det betyr IKKE at vi dømmer mennesker som er overvektige eller undervektige. Det er alltid en grunn bak og det er vi svært klar over. Igjen, det eneste vi ønsker er å inspirere verden til å bli glad og sterk med et helseperspektiv og her finnes ingen tydelig referanseramme. Hva er god helse, hva er dårlig helse? Hva er glad, hva er sterk? Jeg velger å la spørsmålene stå åpne.

For ca to måneder siden ønsket min kjære og bli med meg på et av mine kostholdsforedrag. Kunnskapsrik og erfaren som henne er ble hun faktisk minnet på å drikke mer vann (noe hun nesten hadde glemt bort) og få i seg mer fiber. Dette sammen med noen små andre endringer hun gjorde har ført til gode resultater for min kjære. Etter en turbulent vår med sykehusbesøk og store smerter i mage er hun nå på bedringens vei. Og det føles veldig godt, både for meg og henne. Hun jobber for å holde kroppen sin i balanse med god ernæring, nok hvile og passelig treningsmengde.

Som nevnt har denne våren vært turbulent, kroppen har vært forstoppet, som en konsekvens av dette har energien forsvunnet og det påvirker igjen humør og sinnstilstand. Lene har ikke hatt det bra denne våren, hun har hatt det kjipt og smertefullt fysisk og psykisk.

De siste to månedene har omstendighetene i Lene sitt liv forandret seg. Ting har skjedd som har ført til handling og endring. Disse endringene har vært svært positive for Lene. Kroppen begynner å spille på lag igjen og det påvirker også humøret. Lene har det bedre enn noensinne.

I går valgte Lene å poste et bilde av hvordan kroppen har forandret seg de siste to månedene. Der dere ser til venstre en kropp som er forstoppet og i smerter, til høyre ser dere en kropp i mer balanse, en kropp som er på vei tilbake. Dette legger hun ut for å inspirere sine følgere at endring er mulig. Lene er svært opptatt av å opptre autentisk og gå foran som et godt eksempel. Da kan dere selv tenke dere hvordan det har vært å være Lene denne våren. Det betyr faktisk mye for henne også, hun er et menneske og ikke en robot.

Fra sidelinjen leste jeg tilfeldigvis over kommentarene på dette instagraminnlegget. Stort sett hyggelige tilbakemeldinger og kommentarer, men noen få er av en mer negativ art. Dette blogginnlegget er ikke ment for å henge ut noen eller forsvare, men jeg kan forstå om det blir oppfattet slik, da kan jeg ikke gjøre annet enn å beklage, men jeg har et mål med innlegget.

Instagramposten til innlegget kan potensielt møte to problemer slik jeg ser det. 1. Det kan virke selgende 2. det kan føre til kroppspress. 1. Selvfølgelig er det selgende, Lene driver med salg, hun har dedikert livet sitt til å hjelpe og inspirere mennesker til endring. Lene er en endringsagent, går foran som et godt eksempel, er en av de mest hardtarbeidende i klassen. Er det urimelig å legge ut innlegg som kan virke selgende? Personlig syns jeg det er flott at det finnes mennesker som Lene som har utviklet et selskap som kan hjelpe tusenvis av mennesker med å forandre livet sitt. 2. Kroppspress. Igjen, jeg syns det er skremmende å bruke ordet kropp. Men målet med bilde er å inspirere til endring, og vi veit mange ønsker endring der ute. Jeg tror en av kommentarene handlet om at Lene er tilbake i en slags fitnessboble. Det kan jeg skrive under på at Lene ikke er. Lene sitt fokus er helse, balanse og kjærlighet. Og hva om hun hadde vært det? Er det galt? Personlig har jeg ingen problemer med at noen ønsker å hugge kroppen sin ut i stein. Folk må få lov å velge hvordan de ønsker å leve livet sitt. Men at Lene ønsker å trives i kroppen sin er naturlig, og hun har sin referanseramme akkurat som du har din.

Menneske eller robot? Min kjære er et menneske med følelser, hun har et stort hjerte og brenner intenst for at andre skal blomstre i sine liv. Hun blir faktisk rasende hvis hun ser og hører noen som snakker stygt om andre. Intensjonene hennes er utelukkende gode.

Min oppfordring. Det er jo nesten fælt å henge seg opp i et par slengbemerkninger på et innlegg fylt av kjærlighet, MEN jeg har en oppfordring, det er enkelte ting jeg også brenner intenst for. Jeg er ikke opptatt av ”å ta” de som slenger dritt rundt seg, jeg er mer opptatt av hva vi bør gjøre. Personlig er vi langt ifra perfekte, hvem er vel det? Jeg respekterer at noen kommenterer slik de gjør, vi veit at kommentarene kommer for en grunn. Personlig sammenlignet jeg meg med alle andre, var frustrert og unhappy for 7-8 måneder siden da jeg selv strevet i mitt eget liv. Da var det lett å ikke unne andre suksess. Jeg sier ikke at menneskene som kommenterer kritisk/negativt/saklig/undrende ikke har det bra med seg selv, vi er jo forskjellige alle sammen. Jeg ønsker bare at folk må tenke seg om før de kommenterer, ofte er det bedre å skrive positive kommentarer og heie hverandre frem, her kan jeg kun snakke av egen erfaring. Det er ikke alltid vi kjenner historien bak, det må vi være klar over.

La oss heie hverandre frem, vi trenger det sårt alle sammen, vi trenger et klapp på skuldra, vi trenger støttespillere, sammen er vi sterke. Jeg er FAN!

    Når sant skal sies, så trenger vi personer som ser helhet i alt. Om du er overvektig, for tynn og lider av underernæring . Om du ikke finner den balanse i livet som kosthold, nok søvn, aktivitet og en stresset hverdag kan uroe oss som menneske… mange faktorer vi mange tar for gitt. Så har vi janteloven …. Ikke tro du vet bedre. Ikke tro du er best i alt osv.
    Men så har vi de fleste mennesker som bare er som de fleste. Noen lytter og tar innover seg, og noen bryr seg ikke og må hele tiden kommenter negativt. Slik er vi skrudd sammen🙂
    Så kan vi enten gjøre noe med oss selv, eller la være… it’s up to us
    Når Lene bruker ordet som « å bli den beste utgaven av seg selv» kan det ikke sies bedre . Det er faktisk slik det er . Så enkelt. Det du vil , det får du til. Og det du ikke vil, det får du ikke til.
    Jeg har fulgt Lene i lang tid og vet det ligger mye glede, smerte, urolighet , men også mye stolthet i jobben hun gjør. Denne jenta har gjort noe med seg selv og sin livsstil, mange ville misunne. Men så er Lene skrudd sammen slik at i stedet for fokusere på det som har skjedd så ser hun fremover og hjelper andre i samme situasjon . Når du har vært gjennom ild og vann og fortsatt står oppreist …. Det står det respekt av.
    Dere to skal fortsette å å inspirere de som vil bli inspirert . Resten blir en bra utfordring i hverdagen😉
    Dere to har inspirert meg til å ta tak i hverdagen og tenke at jeg også burde bli den beste utgaven av meg selv😘

Som du selv skriver har du et mål med blogginnlegget, og jeg kan ikke gjøre annet enn å lure; er målet at vi lesere utelukkende skal kommentere positivt og med heiarop? Er det ikke rom for å stille spørsmål, være kritisk og undre hva intensjonen er? Hvis det stemmer må jeg ærlig innrømme at det virker særdeles urettferdig av deg og dere.

    Jeg kan heller ikke la være å lure på om dette har noe med Herbalife-oppstyret å gjøre. Slik jeg forstår det mottar Lene kritikk for å påberope seg kunnskap hun nødvendigvis ikke kvalifiserer seg for å ha. For all del, personlige erfaringer har hun naturlig nok, men jeg mener at vi (alle) skal være forsiktige med å formidle egne erfaringer som sannheter for den allmenne befolkning, eller som sannheter for bestemte grupper. Vi bør definitivt ikke frata medisin og annen evidensbasert forskning den viktighet den faktisk har.

    Til slutt vil jeg også nevne at når man velger å uttrykke noe i det offentlige rom, velger å være en offentlig profil og har dette som arbeidssted, bør man tåle spørsmål, og ikke kun stille krav om kjærlighet, heiarop og positive tanker. Og gjør vi feil, eller sier noe som ikke gir mening for mottaker, bør vi tåle at noen sier i fra. Tenk hvor vi hadde vært hvis alle satt som nikkedukker og blindt kjøpte enhver løsning vi ble tilbudt.
